About how mobile phone wireless charging works

Mobile wireless charging technology is derived from wireless power transmission technology. Wireless charging, also known as inductive charging, non-contact inductive charging, is the use of near-field sensing, that is, inductive coupling, by a power supply device (charger) to transfer energy to a powered device that uses the received energy pair The battery is charged and used for its own operation. Since the charger and the electric device transmit energy by inductive coupling, there is no wire connection between the two, so the charger and the electric device can be exposed without conductive contacts.


Working principle: Using the "resonance" principle of physics - two objects with the same vibration frequency can efficiently transfer energy.

1. The electrical energy in the transmission line is transmitted to an antenna made of copper.

2. The antenna vibrates at a frequency of 10 MHz to generate electromagnetic waves.

3. The energy emitted by the antenna propagates to 2 meters (6.5 feet).

4. A laptop that also vibrates at a frequency of 10 MHz receives current and energy is charged into the device.

5. Energy that is not converted to a laptop is not reabsorbed by the antenna. People and other objects that cannot produce a 10 MHz resonance will not interfere with it.
